2027 Exhibitor Guide & Schedule
Open-class exhibiting is one of the fair's proudest traditions! Ribbons and premium prize money are awarded across seven departments. Entry fee is just $1.00 per item, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash premiums awarded in most classes.

Entry & Judging Dates
Entries Received: Tuesday, June 15, 2027 (4–8 PM)
Judging: Wednesday, June 16, 2027
Pickup: Sat. June 19 after 10 PM or Sun. June 20 (12:30–1:30 PM)
2027 Premium Book Structure
Department 1 — Farm Crops
Market Vegetables & Produce: Green snap beans, wax beans, lima beans, green peas, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, slicing and pickling cucumbers, dry onions, sweet bell peppers, hot peppers, sweet banana peppers, sweet corn (yellow/white), winter squash, zucchini, red and pink tomatoes, and pumpkin categories.
Department 2 — Flower Show
Cut Flowers & Floral Design: Specimen classes for roses, dahlias, gladiolus, marigolds, zinnias, perennials, house plants, terrariums, hanging baskets, and artistic arrangement categories.
Department 3 — Culinary Arts & Baking
Baking, Preserves & Specialty Contests: Yeast breads, sweet rolls, quick breads, pies, cookies, brownies, canned fruits, vegetables, jams, jellies, pickles, decorated cakes, and the official West Virginia Pepperoni Roll Competition!
Department 4 — Domestic Arts
Handicrafts & Sewing: Hand quilts, machine quilts, wall hangings, sewn garments, needlepoint, embroidery, crochet, knitting, woodworking, leather craft, ceramics, and handcrafted home décor.
Department 5 — Art Show
Visual Arts (Youth & Adult Divisions): Oil painting, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, charcoal, pencil sketches, ink drawing, mixed media, and 3D sculpture.
Department 6 — Photographic Arts
Color & Black-and-White Photography: Scenic landscapes, portraits, wildlife, pets, action sports, macro photography, and digital art.
